Step 1

Manage your subscription and invoices

Payments for GetReviewX are handled end to end by Dodo Payments, so your billing record lives in their customer portal rather than on this site.

The portal shows and copies licence keys, but it cannot release a key from a site it is already activated on. That is what Free up a site below is for.

Step 2

Download GetReviewX

Paste the licence key from your purchase email (or from the billing portal) and we will serve you the current release as a ZIP you can upload under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

An expired licence does not take the plugin away. If your licence lapses you keep using the version already installed, and your reviews and curation stay exactly as they are — a lapsed key only stops new downloads and automatic updates.

Step 3

Free up a site

Your plan allows a set number of active sites at once. Retiring a site, moving to a new domain or handing a client project back all need the old activation released first.

If you still have the site

This is the simplest route and it takes a few seconds. In that site’s WordPress admin, go to:

GetReviewX Settings Licence Deactivate this site

The activation is released immediately and the slot is free for the next site. The plugin itself stays installed and keeps displaying your reviews.

Lost access to the site?

If the site is gone, sold, or you simply cannot get into its admin any more, you can release the activation from our side instead. You will need the licence key.

Common questions

About licences and downloads

What happens when my licence expires?

You keep the plugin and you keep your reviews. Everything already installed carries on working — the display styles, the curation board, the sync you have configured. What stops is the paid part: automatic updates, new downloads from this page, and support. Renewing in the billing portal turns those back on.

How many sites does my licence cover?

It depends on the plan you bought — one site, five sites, or unlimited. Your plan and its activation limit are shown against your purchase in the Dodo Payments customer portal, and the pricing page lists what each plan includes. If you have hit the limit, release an activation from a site you no longer need using Free up a site above.

How do I get support?

Email us and include your licence key, your WordPress and PHP versions, and the URL of the site in question — that usually saves a round trip. [email protected]. Support is part of an active licence; see the licence terms for what it covers.

I bought GetReviewX but never got my licence key.

Dodo emails the key at the moment of purchase, so check the spam folder of the address you paid with first. Failing that, the key is listed against your purchase in the billing portal — sign in with that same email address.

Can I use the plugin without a licence key at all?

Yes. GetReviewX is GPLv2 or later and does not check a key in order to run. The key gates updates, downloads and support — not execution. The licence terms set this out in full.
